Mr. Palacio is most readily recognized as one of the bay area’s authentic Latin big band writers. 理查德·弗洛雷斯 earned both his Bachelor of 音乐 degree and his Masters degree from Cal State 海沃德 studying under Jim Bertram. Mr. Flores has been teaching at Chabot College since the fall of 1992.

 For the past several 年 Mr. Flores has performed in the Flores/ McGuinness Duo featuring soprano and guitar. They have premiered numerous works written for guitar, voice and various instrumental combinations. He has also performed with the Austin Chamber Ensemble, the Coro Hispano de San Francisco as well as numerous choirs in 大湾区.

Caitlyn Smith Franklin

Dr. Victoria DiMaggio Lington holds a BM and MM in piano performance from the University of Houston, Moores School of 音乐, where she studied with Nancy Weems and received a DMA in piano performance and accompanying from the University of North Texas, where she studied with Pamela Mia Paul.

Dr. Lington performed her first public recital at the age of eight and was a soloist with the Mesa Symphony Orchestra at the age of fourteen. 她 has participated in many 参加州、全国和国际比赛，赢得无数奖项和认可 一路走来. He is the principal accompanist for the Danville 女生合唱 and a past accompanist with the S.F. 女生合唱. Mr. Micek works regularly as a 钢琴家 for National 协会. of Teachers of Singing (NATS) festivals. Besides his work as a performer, he operates a piano teaching studio at his home in 卡斯特罗峡谷. He is a former President of the Southern Alameda County Branch of the 音乐 Teachers 协会. CA (MTAC).

理查德·克里希南 is a multiple woodwind instrumentalist from the San Francisco 湾 Area with a Masters in Multi ple Woodwind Performance from the University of Oregon and a BA in 音乐 from San Jose State University. 目前奥. 克里希南在教书 在东湾的小学和中学，是教师教私人课程 在多所大学. Over that time his choirs were recognized as some of the finest high school choirs in the state of California. They were often featured at both CMEA and ACDA conventions and conferences. Under his direction the Mt. 伊甸园 High School Concert Choir and the Mt. 伊甸园 High School Chamber Singers competed at the prestigious GOLDEN STATE CHORAL COMPETITION and frequently won 1st place, and placed within the top five choirs every year from 1997-2017. His choirs have performed 3 times in New York City at Carnegie Hall and at the Alice Tully Performance Hall 在林肯中心.

在山上. 伊甸园,. Rawdon also ran a competitive show choir program that competed in show choir competitions throughout the state. He had a 58-member mixed show choir called “MONARCH MIRAGE” and an all-men’s show choir called “WHO’S YO DADDY?!”

Earlier in his life, from the late 1970’s to the mid-1980’s, Ken was tremendously involved in contemporary Christian 音乐 and traveled throughout the world developing 合唱乐团. From 1979-1980, he spent a year in India putting together a 60-voice ensemble that literally traveled throughout India performing in schools, churches, civic organizations, etc. In February of 1980, the choir he developed performed at the Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi presenting a concert in honor of the Prime Minister’s 生日. The next day, Ken and the entire choir were invited to have tea with Prime 部长甘地.

In 1981, Ken met Mother Teresa of Calcutta, an event which he feels changed his life. He continued working with Mother Teresa with a group of other American volunteers for the next two 年. “We were up every morning at 4:00 AM and then throughout the day worked with the poor in whatever way we could. Sometimes we would collect leftovers at the new market, other days we would care for the sick (including lepers). 我的眼睛 were opened after that to the needs of people in our world.”

“Teaching, for me, was a calling upon my life. 不 just an occupation. 我相信每一个 of us are put on this earth for a reason, and for me that reason was to teach and work with young people — especially teenagers. The earlier events I’ve mentioned were 我相信，这对我多年后在海沃德从事教学工作大有帮助.” On November 6, 2018, Ken was elected to the 海沃德 Unified School District Board of Education where he is currently serving a 4-year term.

迈克尔罗森 is a producer, engineer, studio owner, and adjunct professor in the 海湾地区.

Young Kwang (Lucas) Schwyter is a working audio engineer, A/V technician, certified Pro Tools user and guitarist with over fifteen 年’ experience, mainly focusing on classical guitar performance.  He received his BA from UC Berkeley where he studied musicology, computer music and performance. He then received an MM in 音乐 Education from San Jose State University during which he taught music theory and received the award as most outstanding graduate student.

At “大学, he studied classical and jazz performance. He performed with artists such as Eric Marienthal, Bobby 她w, Terrence Brewer, Edgardo Cambon, and the group “Crossing 32nd Street”. During his bachelor studies, Lucas worked in recording studios around 大湾区 including Fantasy Studios and Skyline Studios, first as an intern but later as a recording/mixing engineer. Over the    年, he has worked with artists such as Bill Frisell, Nels Cline singers, Thomas Pridgen (The Memorials) and Sly and 家族石. In the last couple 年, he helped form the podcast “East 湾 Shortwave”, a non-profit podcast promoting local musicians.

​Scott leads his own trio, co‐leads the international jazz group Crossing Borders with Jennifer Scott and Kristen Strom, and is a member of the Kristen Strom Quartet, 和艾德·约翰逊 & 新生节奏.

He’s been featured at many festivals including the Monterey Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival, Earshot Jazz Festival, the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal, Montreal, Quebec, and Jazz on the Wing, in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Percussion and Percussion Ensemble
